In the August issue, we celebrate TAP’s Platinum Jubilee with an article highlighting the last 40 years of the journal’s lifetime.

Trevor S. Bird, past Editor-in-Chief (2004-2010) of the journal and chair of the History Committee of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, addresses the evolution of the journal, reflects on the rapid exponential increase in the number of submissions and page volume the past two decades, recaps the innovations that were gradually introduced, and envisions the future. TAP’s current Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Konstantina Nikita, would like to warmly thank Trevor Bird for commemorating TAP’s history on its 70th anniversary.
