Student Members: Spend Next Summer in Washington, D.C., as a WISE Intern

IEEE Student members who are interested in spending a summer in Washington, D.C., learning how engineers and scientists can contribute to the legislative process and regulatory decision-making, should consider applying for the Washington Internships for Students of Engineering (WISE) program. The deadline to apply for summer 2024 internships is 1 February 2024.

Watch Now: IEEE-USA Director of Government Relations sits down (virtually) with IEEE-USA's three 2021 WISE Interns to recap their experiences.

Support IEEE-USA Student Public Policy: IEEE members may contribute directly to the WISE program, and ensure that IEEE-USA and its partners can continue to provide this life-changing experience to U.S. IEEE student members.

The new IEEE-USA Salary & Benefits Survey Report – 2023 Edition is now available in the IEEE-USA Shop. For the second year in a row, inflation outpaced growth in U.S. engineering salaries, according to the survey. That’s the first multiyear dip in real income since the 2000s. See the related article in IEEE Spectrum. See the report in the IEEE-USA Shop.
