Scholarship Opportunity

Department of Defense (DoD) SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program

The SMART Program, part of the DoD’s STEM education initiatives, offers scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students pursuing degrees in STEM disciplines. This program not only covers full tuition but also provides annual stipends between $30,000 and $46,000, summer internships at DoD facilities, and guaranteed civilian employment with the DoD upon graduation. It’s an excellent pathway for students interested in contributing to our nation’s defense technology innovations.

in the IEEE Annual Election

Balloting for the 2024 IEEE Annual Election is now underway and will end on 1 October 2024 at 12:00 noon ET (16:00 UTC). We hope you will take the time to vote and help choose the future leadership of IEEE.

This year’s ballot includes IEEE President-Elect candidates who are nominated by IEEE Board of Directors, as well as nominees for Delegate-Elect/Director-Elect for IEEE Divisions I, III, V, VII, IX, and for IEEE Regions 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. The ballot also includes candidates for IEEE Technical Activities Vice President-Elect, IEEE-USA President-Elect, and IEEE Standards Association Board of Governors Members-at-Large.
