Students & YPs Cruise, Too!
Set Sail for Alaska with Us in September

IEEE-USA's 7-night Alaska Cruise, 9-16 September 2024, promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure — and all are welcome! We'll be cruising in style aboard Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, from Seattle to stops in Sitka, Skagway, Juneau, and Victoria, BC, before returning to Seattle. Last year, for IEEE-USA's 50th Anniversary Cruise, nine students from Penn State Harrisburg (pictured above with 2023 IEEE-USA President Ed Palacio) secured funding from their University to attend and, in turn, some of them even parlayed their experience into internships and job offers. While we can’t guarantee the same results  we know you’ll have an amazing time.

IEEE-USA CVD is in the (Record) Books!

This year’s Congressional Visits Day (CVD) saw a total of 160 IEEE members — from across 32 states and 98 congressional districts — travel to Washington. Participants attended a total of 162 meetings with Senators and Representatives, a record high in CVD history, which has been held each year since 1998. Everyone is a VIP at CVD, but it's worth noting that attendees included IEEE President Tom Coughlin, IEEE-USA President Keith Moore, IEEE President-Elect Kathleen Kramer, and IEEE-USA President-Elect Tim Lee, Region 6 Director Kathy Herring Hayashi, Region 5 Director Matt Francis, and many others. Sincere thanks to each and every participant for making this our biggest and most successful CVD yet!
