We are pleased to share the September edition of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation newsletter, featuring 80 newly published articles. This issue introduces a Special Article Collection on Antennas and Propagation for Space Applications, highlighting research on ground and space segment antennas as well as satellite link propagation. The Collection aims to showcase innovations driving the next generation of space communications and features 17 articles, carefully selected by our Guest Editors, along with short video highlights. All articles are available as open access until 31 December 2025.

Our evolving Special Article Collection commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society now includes seven review articles, which will be freely available for a limited time following their publication in the Early Access section of IEEE Xplore.

From pioneering satellite launches to today’s advanced multi-orbit systems, space technologies have become integral to global connectivity, navigation, and Earth observation. This collection highlights cutting-edge research at the intersection of space systems and antenna technologies, showcasing innovations driving the next generation of space communications.
