Conference Report from 2023

NSS / MIC / RTSD

The 2023 NSS/MIC/RTSD conference was held in Vancouver, BC, Canada, at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre, 3-11 November; the meeting was held in hybrid mode to facilitate attendance for those who still wanted to participate but could not travel for some reason.

The start of each calendar year sees turnover in the AdCom membership; the leaving members are gratefully thanked for their work and legacy, the new ones are warmly welcomed while looking forward to benefitting from their experience and contributions.

As noted by Vesna, AdCom met on November 10th (FinCom and ComCom) and 11th at the Vancouver Convention Centre at the end of the NSS/MIC/RTSD. Again we had a hybrid meeting but with about two-thirds of our members in attendance in person.

Uncover the ADCOM Class of 2027 Elected Members. Masaharu Nomachi is a Senior member of IEEE. He is a member of the NPSS CANPS committee. In 2014, he organized the 19th Real-Time Conference in Japan. He has organized international schools on radiation measurements.

NuVirLab is an initiative brought forward by NPSS Transnational Committee (TNC). Its main goal is the development of educational software for university students which will first be used in Vietnam but can be easily adapted to other languages.
