In 2024, the Industrial Electronics Society achieved numerous milestones. Key highlights include the introduction of three annual AdCom meetings starting in Kyoto, a new ExCom committee promoting synergy and modernization, and a focus on digital publications, saving over US$500,000. The society doubled student awards and held its first SYP Congress in Hyderabad, India, on “Green Energy.” The flagship IECON conference celebrated its 50th edition with record-breaking participation and industry engagement. Additionally, the IEEE World Technology Summit focused on AI Infrastructure, and the inaugural IES Days were celebrated globally.
