The third Industrial Electronics Society Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Workshop was held at ETFA Conference on the 12 September 2024 in Padova, Italy. The event was organized by Prof. Lucia Lo Bello, Chair of the IES DEI Subcommittee, and by Prof. Giulia Michieletto, IES Women in Engineering Ambassador in Italy.

ICPS 2025 will be held 12-15 May 2025 in Emden, Germany. The conference aims to provide an international platform for cutting-edge research and professional interactions for the development of Industrial Cyber Physical Systems.

PECTEA 2025 will be held 18-21 June 2025 in Jatni, Odisha, India. It is the first conference on Power Electronic Converters in Transportation and Energy Applications technically co-sponsored by IEEE IES.

The 21st edition of the WFCS 2025 conference will take place 10-13 June 2025 in Rostock, Germany. WFCS aims to focus on all forms of communication solutions to support automation within factories and other contexts.

This article presents the analysis, design, and realization of the ShuttlePump, a novel implantable total artificial heart (TAH) concept based on a linear-rotary actuator, currently under development at the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory, ETH Zurich.
