Control software development constitutes a major part of today production machine development cost. The Domain specific modeling language defined in IEC 61499 provides means to reduce this effort and provides means for integrated communication. The webinar gives an overview of the elements of IEC 61499 and how they can be used for the development of distributed control applications.
