Call for IEEE AP-S 2025 Educational Initiative Proposals

AP-S is now accepting proposals for its Educational Initiatives Program, which supports innovative projects that advance AP-S educational goals at all levels. Proposals may include curriculum development, outreach activities, workshops, and other impactful educational efforts. Funding is available for selected initiatives that demonstrate strong potential to benefit the AP-S community.

Honoring the Future of AP-S

Dr. Lei Guo has been awarded the 2024 IEEE AP-S Young Professional of the Year

Dr. Lei Guo is an Associate Professor at Dalian University of Technology, China, specializing in wireless energy harvesting, millimeter-wave antennas, and sensing technologies. She has published over 60 papers, holds 12 patents, and actively serves the IEEE AP-S community as an Associate Editor for both TAP and OJAP. In 2024, she was named Outstanding Associate Editor for OJAP and selected as an IEEE AP-S Young Professional Ambassador. Dr. Guo is also a strong advocate for women in engineering, organizing dedicated sessions and outreach initiatives within AP-S.
