Dear Chapter Officer,

We hope that you are successfully getting to know your position and your members.

Please remember that it is crucial to submit the three reports mentioned in the previous email in order to earn a rebate payment to ensure the best shape of your Chapter and support its operations.

As an active Chapter, let IEEE know about your meetings and activities. This guide helps you complete your meeting reports and provides valuable information for the operation of your Chapter. It is important to report meetings soon after the meeting has occurred, so that your Society/Council, your Section, and your Region are all aware of your meeting activities. This helps them assess the health of all of their sub-units and know when assistance should be extended.

Did you know that IEEE provides numerous tools to help volunteers be successful in their positions and better serve their members, such as web hosting? A list of volunteer tools can be found here; be sure to watch the video introduction that is included. The tools include the eNotice service, allowing you to contact your members and other units as well.

As for video conferencing / meeting tools, IEEE provides WebEx accounts to Sections. You can work with your Section leadership to set up WebEx meetings.

We hope that these tools and resources will be useful in helping you achieve your goals!
