Nominations or self-nominations are solicited for the 2025 IEEE AP-S awards. All nominations are subject to the terms in the AP-S and IEEE guidelines detailed in the Operating Manuals and Bylaws. Nominators are encouraged to review these guidelines before submission.

The objective of this program is to inspire and inform AP-S Young Professionals on a variety of topics both technical and non-technical to enhance their interest and engagement in the field of Antennas and Propagation by delivering the talks at various Chapters/Sections "on-demand" virtually.

Self-nominations are encouraged, and decisions will normally be made before the end of the year to start the term from January the following year. All new Ambassadors are required to give at least two lectures during the tenure of one year. The call for candidates will open once a year and Ambassadors are selected for a term of 1 year, with a possible extension to a second year. Young Professional Ambassadors are eligible for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Young Professional of the Year Award.

IEEE will match donations dollar for dollar, per IEEE Financial Operations guidelines, enabling AP-S to double its impact and ultimately secure US$3 million in total funding. The AP-S Talent Development Fund promises to generate Waves of Support to empower tomorrow’s innovators today, amplifying opportunities for tomorrow’s pioneers in the field, and paving the way for new and exciting exploration. |
